Seems like common sense to me. The closer a population gets to 100% of the

population being vaccinated the higher the chance that the % hospitalized will be vaccinated.

Put simply if 100% of the population is vaccinated then 100% of those hospitalized will be vaccinated.

Or if you’ve got a population of 100 and 90% have been vaccinated then there are only 10 people who could end up hospitalized and unvaccinated versus 90 that could end up hospitalized and vaccinated.
